Talking to Jesus

We talk to Jesus in order to constantly build and strengthen our relationship with Him, to get to know Him better. We also talk to Jesus in order to seek His advice and help, to show Him that we recognize His existence and awesome power, and of course to show Him that we have trust and confidence in Him.
Talking to God should be no different than talking to your best friend. You should tell Jesus your thoughts, desires, hurts, and problems, as well as praise Him for what He has done in your life. Talking to God also tells Him that you have a desire for His presence in your life and that you need Him and are dependent on Him. Matthew 12:46 While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. We see that they were seeking Him to talk with Him, we have to do the same thing, seek Him and talk with Him.
Jesus wants you to make the effort to talk to Him and not to take him for granted, you can do this by seeking Him in the good times and in the bad. Today, make it a priority to seek and talk to Jesus, even if it’s just to say hi. get to know Him better so can become more comfortable talking to Him and praying.
